Before we proceed further, I should tell you what is an AUTOFILL feature and what does it actually does.

Autofill is a feature on Google Chrome which fills your forms automatically like a pro.

This feature serves and offers you it’s one purpose services only, and that purpose is to fill all the fields on a form you are filling through this Google Chrome browser automatically on page load without any interaction of the user.

This is the primary function of this Autofill feature, but it can do a lot more for you. The good news for all the Google Chome users is that it has a built-in AUTOFILL feature, but it does not work and apply in all fields.

AUTOFILL feature requires you to select from a drop-down menu for further processes and work limits.

If you guys love using Google Chrome and you are happy with all the services it provides you with, I still recommend you to give it a try to this extension of Autofill feature. You will surely love the automation and power at your fingertips after using this feature.

It will be always good and handy to have your Google Chrome browser remember all your personal details and helps you with that while you are filling out forms on the internet.

Most of the time when you want to sign up for any service or you want to buy something online from an online store, it asks you to enter the same required information for a lot of times and a secure way to enter it all at once saves much time for you and it leads to fewer errors. (Only if the information provided is correct).

Thankfully and very luckily, changing the saved data on this AUTOFILL feature on Google Chrome is very easy and simple. The same goes for the procedure to turn the AUTOFILL feature off if anybody else is using your device and Google Chrome to save your personal information such as Credit Card numbers, etc.

If you have this AUTOFILL feature powered on in your Google Chrome, then whenever you will enter your information for the first time, Google Chrome will save it. I will now tell you what kind of information this AUTOFILL feature saves up for you.

Following are listed all types of information AUTOFILL saves up in your Google Chrome for you:

  • Your Name
  • Your Organization
  • Your complete address, including street address, city, state or province, zip or postal code and country you live in
  • Mobile phone number or telephone number
  • Email address
  • Your Credit Card information. Official support.

Your name and address details are tied to the data of your credit card in the settings of Google Chrome’s Autofill settings. I think that Google Payments is a better place to store the information related to Credit Card, including the name associated with it and billing address as well.

Keep in your mind that the data saved in Autofill data is in the Cloud, not on any device you are using.

That is why you should be aware of what data you are saving in this Autofill data and where you are actually saving it because when it comes to personal information, it is worthy of your consideration.

This AUTOFILL feature allows you to add, edit or delete information saved in this AUTOFILL feature at will through Google Chrome in both your smartphone and from a desktop version as well.

Just because the data is stored in your Google personal cloud, your personal information is the same across all instances of Google Chrome browser you are signed into. And I want to know about me.
