How to Delete Search History in the Browser?

Every browser has its History page which lists all the websites that you have visited using this browser. Usually, a browser stores the history of the last 90 days. A browser history often doesn’t store its own visited pages.

  2. Click on More, at the top right,
  3. Click on History on the navigation bar.
  4. On the left side, click on the “Clear browsing data”.
  5. A window will then appear.
  6. Select the history option from the drop-down menu, you want to delete.
  7. If you want to clear everything, select the “all-time” option.
  8. Check on the boxes that you want to clear, including your “browsing history.”
  9. Click on the Clear data to confirm.

Delete specific search results from the browser history page

You can delete some parts of your history. Here are the simple steps to remove a certain session of the History page of chrome.

  1. First, go to the browser
  2. Look for More option at the top right of the page, and then click on it.
  3. Click on History.
  4. Check in the box next to each searched result that you wish to delete from your browser history.
  5. At the top right of the page, click on the Delete option.
  6. Finally, click on the Remove option to confirm.
