If you have ever witnessed a North American professional sports league, then Overwatch League is something similar to it. Teams in this league play games against other teams, for a position in the season’s playoffs.
Get Overwatch League Tokens
This is a shooter video game, where a team of six players, play against a team of other 6 players. The main objective of the game is to fight along with team members and eliminate the opponents. The players can attack, defend, and compete for the given objective.
There is Damage (who are the main attackers), the Support (who heals and provides other buffs), and Tank (which means shielding teammates with high health amounts). Each player gets to choose from a pool of 32 heroes, and the Damage, Support, and Tank are the three classes.
In the recent update of the game, players gained access to Overwatch League tokens. If the player has the latest update of Overwatch, then they will be able to see the League tokens tab.
However, if the console isn’t set in a way that, it manually upgrades the game to its latest version, then the user can do it on their own.
- Go to Settings, then Updates, and manually update to the recent version.
The exact steps of the upgrade process will depend on the console that you are using. However, the instructions are fairly simple, and you can follow them on screen as they appear.
When the Overwatch League Token tab appears, click on it using the main menu.
On the next screen, you will get to choose the team and character, for whom you want to buy the skins. When you are done choosing the skin, click on the purchase option, which appears on the top right-hand corner of the screen. However, if you don’t have tokens for buying the skins, then the screen will ask you to select a Token bundle.
If you want to buy them, then know that 100 tokens cost about $4.99. When you have paid for the tokens, then the skin would be added to the wardrobe of the character.
Overwatch Skin is a new development in the game, which is why most users don’t know about it. Skins are like cosmetics for the characters, which changes their appearance. It can be an outfit change or a change in the look of their weapons. The color scheme of a particular hero can change as well.
When the player starts to play Overwatch League, they get common skins as default. When rare skins are applied on characters, then that changes their color scheme.
- Epic skins can change both the color and the appearance of the character.
- As for Legendary skins, they are used for changing the costume of the character, adding dialogues and emotes to them.
However, the best part of this game is that you don’t have to buy skins. If you are collecting loot boxes, then you can get the majority of the skins this way. When you get seasonal boxes in loot, then you will get seasonal skins like those made for Winter weather.
