Disneyland is “THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH”. Why is it the happiest place on earth? Well, because people from all over the world enjoy visiting Disneyland. It is an amusement park that is themed on Fairy tales and Disney characters.
Disneyland is situated in Anaheim, California, and was opened in the year 1955. It is the one and only that is designed and built under the supervision of Walt Disney.
Walt Disney first came up with the thought of Disneyland after he visited different types of amusement parks with his daughters in the 1930s and in the 1940s as well. He firstly imagined building a tourist attraction nearby to his studios in Burbank to entertain his fans who wished to visit there; though, he then realized that the place was too small and he was planning something bigger.
Afterward, Disney bought a 160-acre site which is near Anaheim in the year 1953. The part was then designed by a creative team that was chosen by Walt Disney himself from various places of internal and outside talent.
Then the construction of that park began in the year 1954 and the park was revealed during a special televised press event on the ABC Television Network on the 17th of July, 1955.
