  7. Now right click on the Stream Launcher shortcut.
  8. Click on Properties.
  9. Type “console” and click Apply and then click OK.
  10. Use the shortcut to open Stream and click Console.
  11. Type “download-depot” then the App ID number, or depot ID number, or manifest ID number, press enter.
  12. Now go to the folder where the older version download is (on the Console option).
  13. Find the executable download, then copy it.
  14. Paste it in the game installation folder, using “Copy & Replace”.
  15. Finally, try running it to see whether this solves the error.

Solution 3: Disable the Defective Mods
