This series has shown up and it is a result of the great collaboration between the Square Enix and Disney Interactive Studios under the direction of the great Tetsuya Nomura. Tetsuya Nomura is a longtime Square character designer.
This series, the King Hearts is a crossover of various settings of Disney based in a universe made specifically for the series of this game.
There is no doubt about this that most of the installments of this series have been both seriously, highly praised, and achieved success commercially all over the world. Each part/chapter of this game series has achieved various levels of success.
As by the reports of March 2011, the series of Kingdom Hearts sold more than 17 million copies of the game throughout the entire world.

Kingdom Hearts III
Kingdom Hearts, a game that many people are crazy about and after a 13-year long wait, Kingdom Hearts 3 was available for all the crazy fans on the PS4 and Xbox One in the year 2019. I repeat, after 13 years of wait.
Good news for all the crazy and diehard fans of this game is that the critic’s hearts have been full of honor for the latest part in over the top crossover of Square Enix and Disney.
Let me tell you something basic about this Kingdom Hearts III. It is an action role-playing game that is developed and published by Square Enix only for the consoles namely PS4 and Xbox One in the year 2019.
Kingdom Hearts III is the TWELFTH chapter/part in the series of Kingdom Hearts and this twelfth installment serves as a conclusion of the story arc of “Dark Seeker Saga” that began with the very original installment game.
The very first question that arises in the mind of most of the people about Kingdom Hearts is that, why is Donald Duck helping that weird kid with spiky hair in fighting the monsters? This story is complicated and more like the franchise’s story.
What it looks to me like is more like a movie for me. I will just explain all of this in an imaginary way to you guys.
Just imagine that it is the late 1990s, Square Enix and Disney in Japan collaborate and share a building.
Tetsuya Nomura, one of the Creators of this game, who would go on to direct all the games of Kingdom Hearts sequel, is working on the Final Fantasy VII at the time when Nintendo releases Super Mario 64 into the market.
Tetsuya Nomura, the creator of Kingdom Hearts get impressed by the groundbreaking 3D world of Super Mario 64, that is why he now wants to create a game to complete it.
What happens next is very impressive, that a senior developer at the Square Enix bangs into Disney administrative in the elevator of that building and then a meeting is set up.
In that meeting, Tetsuya Nomura puts together and presents the idea to create a 3D adventure game namely the Kingdom Hearts which will merge the storytelling of Final Fantasy game included the characters and world of Disney.
Well, to be very honest this story which comes into my mind seems so accurate to me I don’t know why. This franchise is also known for its impressive combat system, outside of the silly fusion of Final Fantasy and Disney world including characters.
Including almost all the classic JRPGs, the Kingdom Hearts games are long, some say not only long but super long they are.
Don’t even fit the misconception if your mind that you would be able to knock this game out over a weekend only until and unless you are a diehard and dedicated gamer with a fridge that is stocked very well and no easy access to the toilet is also must. (Well, that joke was ridiculous I know).
The main mission of this game can last around 30 hours and if you are a type of person who does complete every single task given to the game even the ones which are not necessary at all, to get every single item and defeat every secret boss, then you will likely spend at least double the time or maybe triple the time.
I will try to lineup the storyline of this game as short as I can for you, so this is what you need to know: seven good guys in this game can use Keyblades and there are 13 bad guys.
Three of the good guys are trapped in different places: Terra, Ventus, and Aqua. Remaining good guys need to free these three good guys who are trapped and they need to unite all together before they go and fight these bad guys.
All the bad guys are living form of one guy only, the Master Xehanort who is a Keyblade Master. This Master Xehanort hopes to build an X-Blade, which is a mythical weapon which models upon all the Keyblades and which opens the Kingdom Hearts. The door which protects the hearts of all the worlds can have opened by the X-Blade.
Which games do you need to play before Kingdom Hearts III as a story sequel?
You will need to play a lot of games because the title of Kingdom Hearts III is a little misleading. Kingdom Hearts III is very far from the third game in this series.
I am going to provide you the list of every title just according to the story chronology. Remember that this title doesn’t include remakes:

If you go directly and start playing Kingdom Hearts III without any story preparation, without playing according to the list I have provided, you will surely find Kingdom Hearts III beyond your understanding.
So, it is good that if you follow the story lineup and then you will have the actual fun that whole the world is having with this game.
What’s new in Kingdom Hearts III
The Kingdom Hearts III game was shown off to a selective crew of journalists, which included CNET’s own Ashley Esqueda in May during sessions in Los Angeles.
A demo of the Kingdom Hearts III was playable, offering us our biggest look at what is to come gameplay-wise. They also offer a new trailer at E3 that game the people some golden nuggets of info in the form of two of the new trailers.
New worlds
Returning some of the favorites like Twilight Town, 100 Acre Wood ad Olympus, Kingdom Hearts III has a swing of new worlds which is based on famous Disney franchises.
The ones that we know so far are based on some of Disney’s more recent successes and they include Pirates of the Caribbean, Frozen, Tangled, Big Hero 6, Monsters. Inc, and Toy Story.
Summons
Summons are back in this one in the form of Links, which refers to Dream Drop Distance. Like with previous games, summons comes in the form of Disney characters. I only know two so far: Wreck-It Ralph and The Little Mermaid’s Ariel, and to be honest, they look awesome and great.
“Flowmotion” was a mechanic that was introduced in Kingdom Hearts 3DS, and it lets you bound off walls and objects within the world. Kingdom Hearts 3 will feature of this mechanic, where you can easily bound up walls and off objects to attack or zip around a battle.
Attractions
A new gameplay mechanic which is called an Attraction Flow, which sees Sora and Co. calls up one of six neon, Disney land themed rides.
Splash Mountain, the Mad Tea Party, Astro Blasters, and Pirates of the Caribbean all of these contribute to the Attraction Flow “summons”, which will work like ultimate attacks, dealing with big damage to foes. The attraction I have seen so far will make your eyes explode.
Keyblade transformations
If you string together enough attacks in the Kingdom Hearts III, you can activate a keyblade transformation. Just like the previous installments of the game, you can unlock more keyblades as you will progress through the game – but now each one of them has their own special and unique ability.
For example, using Toy Story’s “Favorite Deputy” keyblade will allow you to turn your blade into the Hyper Hammer, which pounds all the nearby enemies. Chaining together more attacks will open up the Drill Punch, which gives huge damage and can yank Sora around.
Bearing new ships
The Gummi ship segments, which offer the players to travel between the Disney worlds, have been restored, changing up the formula from Kingdom Hearts II on-rails space shooter.
It will offer a full 360 experience, offering the players to freely move where they wish as they can travel from world to world.
Five is a party
The previous titles limited your party to three members. Mainly it is you (Sora), Donald and Goofy, with the option to swap either to Donald or Goofy for the hero of whichever Disney world you are in.
Kingdom Hearts III offers you for a party of five, which means that you will have Donald and Goofy and also plus up two Disney characters from each of the worlds. That is great!
Phone home
A fresh and new addition to the franchise is the Gummiphone, which is exactly the thing that it sounds like: it is a Kingdome Heartsified version of a smartphone.
It is a handy little in menu item which allows you to play classic Game and Watch style games which you collect as you cross and pass through the game worlds and it also keeps a record of all of your heroic deeds, and also a bestiary, diary entries on core characters in the series, treasure and other collectible things.
What platforms will Kingdom Hearts III be on?
At the time of launch, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will be the only places or consoles where you can get involved with the Keyblade Wars. Whereas the Kingdom Hearts has also found its way to the most major consoles, which includes Nintendo’s handhelds, III will be the first game to be on a Microsoft console. There is no word on whether it will be on PC or not.
There is even the slightest indication of a change that somewhere down the line we may also see that the Kingdom Hearts III comes on Nintendo Switch, considering the way Square Enix has been porting Final Fantasy games recently. This game might just be a little too much for Nintendo’s hybrid console – but there is still hope.
What about the Kingdom Hearts III trailers?
In June 2018 E3 brought with it the latest trailer sending the Kingdom Hearts hype machine into overdrive. It was probably the first real-time in the past 12 years that the fans have finally believed that finally it might be released now.
A set of trailers detailing a little more about some of Kingdom Hearts III’s new worlds, which includes Frozen’s Arendelle, Big Hero 6’s San Fransokyo, You Story’s Toy Box and Tangled’s Kingdome of Corona have slowly been dropped out, disclosing your party’s new looks, some of the characters they will encounter and the amazingly realized 4K Disney universes that the Square Enix are rendering.
As far as the gameplay is concerned. The friends at Gamespot have gone through some of the new gameplay elements in You Story’s Toy Box world.

Between the years 2006 to 2013, this Kingdom Hearts 3 was a complete mystery for all the diehard fans that were eagerly waiting for it.
